DOEE Announces Availability of Partnerships

Opportunity Available for Boat Sewage Pumpout Services for the District of Columbia

WASHINGTON, DC – November 10, 2015 — The Department of Energy and Environment (DOEE) Fisheries and Wildlife Division seeks eligible entities to submit applications for partners to provide maintenance for boat sewage pumpout systems, portable pumpouts, or pumpout boats. Potential partners will support DOEE in promoting improved water quality and increased compliance with the District of Columbia’s ordinance prohibiting discharge of sanitary sewage from vessels.

The full text of the Request for Applications (RFA) For Partnerships will be available online at DOEE’s website. Applicants may obtain a copy of this RFA by any of the following means:

  • Download from DOEE’s website, go to RFA For Partnerships - Boat Sewage Pumpout and download this RFA and related information from the Attachments section.
  • Email a request to [email protected] with “Request copy of RFA 2015-1518-FWD” in the subject line.
  • Pick up a copy in person from the DOEE reception desk, located at 1200 First Street NE, 5th Floor, Washington, DC 20002. To make an appointment, call Joanne Goodwin at (202) 535-1798 and mention this RFA by name.
  • Write DOEE at 1200 First Street NE, 5th Floor, Washington, DC 20002, “Attn: Joanne Goodwin RE:2015-1515-FWD” on the outside of the envelope.
