WASHINGTON, DC, June 08, 2016— The Department of Energy & Environment (DOEE) is now accepting applications for licensure for all mold professionals wishing to perform mold assessment or mold remediation work in the District of Columbia. The District’s mold law and regulations establish workplace standards for mold professionals. They also create a right for tenants to have significant mold issues addressed and remediated in a timely fashion. The District is among the first states to pass comprehensive mold regulations, along with Florida, New York, and Texas.
