Learn how you can save money on your electric bills with the help of the District Department of the Environment (DDOE). By joining with other residents and businesses who buy electricity, you can take advantage of a discounted group rate. Electricity suppliers compete with each other to offer the lowest price to the group. DDOE has saved District ratepayers more than $35 million since this program began in 2004.
To join the DC MAP program, visit ddoe.dc.gov/dcmap and send an opt-in form with copies of the front and back of your most recent electric bill to:
