Each year, the District of Columbia publishes detailed energy and water performance benchmarking data from the largest buildings in the city. Data is disclosed beginning with the second year of data for a building. Because the benchmarking law has been phased-in over several years, the set of data that is disclosed has grown larger each year. In 2015, this disclosure was fully phased in.
The benchmarking data is currently provided as a spreadsheet on the District of Columbia Open Data Portal. You can also view benchmarking data on DOEE’s new interactive mapping tool, EnergyBenchmarkingDC.org.
