Check out EnergyBenchmarkingDC.org, DOEE’s new interactive mapping tool of the benchmarking data.
Each year, the District of Columbia publishes detailed energy and water performance benchmarking data from the largest buildings in the city. Data is disclosed beginning with the second year of data for a building. Because the benchmarking law has been phased-in over several years, the set of data that is disclosed has grown larger each year. In 2015, this disclosure was fully phased in.
The benchmarking data is currently provided as a spreadsheet on the District of Columbia Open Data Portal. Additionally, the District publishes up-to-date energy benchmarking results and detailed 15-minute interval power consumption data for most properties owned by the District Government and operated by the Department of General Services (DGS) on BuildSmartDC.com.
