On Saturday, May 10th DDOE will host an exhibit and information table at the Celebrate Petworth Festival of Community. The event takes place 12:00pm – 6:00pm, 800 block of Upshur Street NW. This day of celebration, kid’s activities, music, arts and healthy living is brought to you by the Petworth Alliance.

Mount Pleasant Farmer’s Market: Collections of household batteries will occur on Saturdays, from 9:00am-1:00pm.
Household batteries will be accepted at the Zero Waste DC tent, near 3210 Mount Pleasant St NW on the Lamont Plaza.
Damaged and defective batteries are also accepted at these events!
