Be sure to visit the DDOE exhibit table at the Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School’s Annual Green Fair. Interactive activities and information tables from local agencies and organizations will promote best practices to students regarding environmental preservation. Student population is the adult immigrant community of Washington DC. Expected attendees: approximately 230; Free but not open to the public.

DOEE Secures $200,000 to the Air Quality Pollution Program for Violations of the District’s Air Quality Regulations
Mount Pleasant Farmer’s Market: Collections of household batteries will occur on Saturdays, from 9:00am-1:00pm.
Household batteries will be accepted at the Zero Waste DC tent, near 3210 Mount Pleasant St NW on the Lamont Plaza.
Damaged and defective batteries are also accepted at these events!

Dupont Circle Farmer’s Market: Collections of household batteries will occur on Sundays, from 8:30am-1:30pm.
Household batteries will be accepted at the Zero Waste DC tent, near the intersection of Connecticut Ave NW & Hillyer Pl NW.
Damaged and defective batteries are also accepted at these events!
