Come learn how & where to fish Shad in the District.
Join us for Shad Fishing 101, an event designed for those who are trying to learn new skills to catch a new species! You'll receive a tour of the AREC, learn basic Shad fishing techniques, and discover the best local fishing spots for American and Hickory Shad.
The event also includes a hands-on activity where participants will get to create their own shad fishing rig to use on their next Shad fishing adventure!
