Calling all local environmental stewards: World Environment Day DC is just around the corner! The District of Columbia has been named North American Host City for this year’s World Environment Day event, which is sponsored by the United Nations Environment Programme and will take place on and around Wednesday, June 5, 2012.
The District Department of the Environment and UNEP encourage you to Unite for a Sustainable DC and join a host of environmental and energy-efficiency awareness activities taking place between Earth Day on April 22 and World Environment Day on June 5, referred to as the “bridge the gap” period.
Any environmental event or activity during the bridge the gap period can be registered as an official World Environment Day event. Register your event today!
Thank you for your interest in being an exhibitor at World Environment Day 2012 - Fair and Expo at Wilson High School. Registration for this event is now closed as of May, 30th.
