SRCs Reduce Stormwater Runoff with Green Infrastructure

The SRC Trading Program creates an incentive for voluntary installation of green infrastructure (GI), which helps to reduce the harmful impacts of stormwater runoff and restore the District’s waterbodies.

Many types of Green Infrastructure can generate SRCs. In addition to the opportunity to sell SRCs, SRC program participants may receive other benefits by installing GI. Read more at Benefits of GI on your Property.
