DOEE’s Watershed Protection Division will showcase its watershed trailer at the second annual Anacostia River Festival, presented by the 11th Street Bridge Park and National Park Service. The Anacostia River Festival is the official closing of the 2016 National Cherry Blossom Festival and celebrates the natural world by focusing on the history, ecology, and the communities along the banks of the Anacostia River.

Mount Pleasant Farmer’s Market: Collections of household batteries will occur on Saturdays, from 9:00am-1:00pm.
Household batteries will be accepted at the Zero Waste DC tent, near 3210 Mount Pleasant St NW on the Lamont Plaza.
Damaged and defective batteries are also accepted at these events!
