Description: The Leadership Council meets quarterly to discuss and advise on the District's Anacostia River Sediment Project (ARSP). Assembled in September 2014, the Leadership Council consists of 21 high-level local, state, and federal government officials and environmental leaders who support the Mayor's vision for a fishable and swimmable river.

DOEE Secures $200,000 to the Air Quality Pollution Program for Violations of the District’s Air Quality Regulations
Mount Pleasant Farmer’s Market: Collections of household batteries will occur on Saturdays, from 9:00am-1:00pm.
Household batteries will be accepted at the Zero Waste DC tent, near 3210 Mount Pleasant St NW on the Lamont Plaza.
Damaged and defective batteries are also accepted at these events!

Dupont Circle Farmer’s Market: Collections of household batteries will occur on Sundays, from 8:30am-1:30pm.
Household batteries will be accepted at the Zero Waste DC tent, near the intersection of Connecticut Ave NW & Hillyer Pl NW.
