DOEE invites you to an information session on Thursday April 21, from 3:00 – 5:00 pm, hosted by the Chesapeake Bay Trust, where they will present three open grants funded by the DOEE.
The three grants are:
- The Donation and Reuse Award Program
- The Ditch the Disposables Award Program
- The Urban Agriculture Small Award Program

3:00 Donation and Reuse Presentation: The Donation and Reuse Awards provide funding to projects, programs, and services that reduce needless waste and increase the diversion of reusable material, including edible food, from landfills and incineration through donation or reuse.

3:45 Ditch the Disposables Presentation: The Ditch the Disposables Awards will fund dishes and dishwashing for onsite dining, reusable containers for take-out, reusable foodware services, and projects that reduce food waste (with the last element specifically focused on schools).
