Grants

  • Notice of Funding Availability - DC Electrification and Mitigation Roadmap
    DOEE seeks eligible entities to implement the Sustainable DC Plan’s energy and climate targets to reduce the District’s energy consumption by 50%, Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions by 50%, and to increase renewable energy for 50% of its total supply. This RFA consists of one (1) project with six (6) distinct tasks. Each applicant must respond to all six (6) tasks and address all of the criteria within the project.   • Notice of Funding Availability - Anacostia Ambassador Program
    DOEE seeks eligible entities to propose how they will select an Ambassador and administer the Anacostia Ambassador Program. The project period is one year and $90,000 is available for one award. Additional years and funding may be available. The deadline for application submissions is March 4, 2019, at 4:30 pm. Read More>>
  • Notice of Funding Availability - Overnight Meaningful Watershed Educational Experiences for Fifth Grade Students in the District
    DOEE seeks eligible entities to continue DOEE's commitment to provide Overnight Meaningful Watershed Educational Experiences (OMWEE) to at least 2,200 fifth grade students and their teachers in DC Public Schools and DC Public Charter Schools. The project period is one year and $550,000 is available for one award. Additional years and funding may be available. The deadline for application submissions is March 1, 2019, at 4:30 pm.   • Notice of Funding Availability – 2019 Green Zone Environmental Program – Watershed Protection Projects
    DOEE seeks eligible entities to provide education, training, and hands-on activities to participants in the Green Zone Environmental Program (GZEP). The amount available for this grant announcement is approximately $80,000. An applicant can request up to $20,000. DOEE plans to make multiple awards. The deadline for application submissions is February 15, 2019, at 4:30 pm. Read More>>
     
  • Notice of Funding Availability – CRIAC Nonprofit Relief Program Off-site Stormwater Mitigation Construction Grant
    DOEE seeks eligible entities to assist nonprofit organizations with the off-site stormwater mitigation requirements of the Clean Rivers Impervious Area Charge (CRIAC) Nonprofit Relief Program. The amount available for the project is up to approximately $270,000.00, which may be split among multiple projects.
