- Notice of Funding Availability - Middle School Watershed Education
DOEE seeks eligible entities to continue DOEE's commitment to provide meaningful watershed educational experiences (MWEE) to sixth-through-eighth grade students enrolled in DC Public Schools and DC Public Charter Schools in Wards 7 and 8. The total amount of funding available is $40,000. An applicant can request up to $20,000. DOEE may make multiple awards. - Notice of Funding Availability - Anacostia Freshwater Mussel Restoration Project
DOEE seeks eligible entities can help increase native freshwater mussel populations in the Anacostia River and associated tributaries; improve water quality; study their ability to filter pollutants from the water column; educate area residents about their overall importance to watershed health; and develop a native freshwater mussel restoration plan for the District. - Notice of Funding Availability - Reducing Locomotive Emissions in the District of Columbia
DOEE seeks an eligible entity to manage the upgrade and re-powering of diesel-powered switcher locomotive(s) at Union Station with new, cleaner, lower emitting engines and meet the eligibility criteria of the Volkswagen (VW) Settlement and Diesel Emission Reduction Act (DERA). - Notice of Funding Availability – CRIAC Nonprofit Relief Program Off-site Stormwater Mitigation Construction Grant
DOEE seeks eligible entities to assist nonprofit organizations with the off-site stormwater mitigation requirements of the Clean Rivers Impervious Area Charge (CRIAC) Nonprofit Relief Program. The amount available for the project is up to approximately $270,000.00, which may be split among multiple projects. - Notice of Funding Availability - Low Income Energy Efficiency and Conservation Program
DOEE seeks eligible entities to provide high quality, cost-effective weatherization services to income-qualified households. Weatherization services improve the overall comfort, energy efficiency, and safety of homes. These services are provided free of charge to all qualifying households. The amount available for the project is up to $2,500,000 for one year with possibility of two-year extension for a total $7,500,000. DOEE anticipates awarding multiple grants.
