How’s this weather?! Finally, it is sunny and spring is in full swing, which means It is time dig in and get to work in the garden, around the house and...on the Sustainable DC Plan! With the plan finally in place, we are excited to put (bike) wheels in motion on the road to becoming the healthiest, greenest, most livable city in the nation! In the next few weeks, we are hosting a public meeting to start implementation and kick-off the next round of public engagement, participating in volunteer events and expanding our outreach to connect with more of the city.

On April 22nd, please join us to kickoff the implementation phase of the Sustainable DC plan. At this meeting, Mayor Gray will discuss some of our first year priority actions and Acting Director Keith Anderson (DDOE) and Director Harriet Tregoning (OP) will overview the plan and our process for implementation. Following the presentations, we will break into smaller groups to focus further on ways to for residents and others to engage in communications and outreach, community action, partnerships, and removing barriers to sustainability action.

Please RSVP here to come to the Sustainable DC Implementation Kickoff!
