DOEE seeks eligible entities to provide lead poisoning prevention education to the Amharic-speaking population and to increase the number of children under six years of age who are screened for possible lead exposure. The amount available is approximately $30,000.00.
Beginning 11/20/2015, the full text of the Request for Applications (RFA) will be available on DOEE’s website. One may obtain a copy of this RFA by any of the following means:

The deadline for application submissions is December, 21 2015 at 4:30 pm. Five hard copies must be submitted to the above address and a complete electronic copy must be e-mailed to [email protected].
Eligibility: All the checked institutions below may apply for these grants:
-Nonprofit organizations, including those with IRS 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) determinations;
-Faith-based organizations;
