Notice of Funding Availability – Green Zone Environmental Program’s (GZEP) Summer Youth and Young Adults Watershed Protection Education and Job Training
***UPDATE*** PRE-APPLICATION INFORMATION SESSION WILL BE HELD FEBRUARY 16TH AT 1:00PM AT DOEE HEADQUARTERS.
The Department of Energy and Environment (the Department) seeks eligible entities to provide education, training, and hands-on activities related to watershed protection for 30-50 youth and young adults in the Green Zone Environmental Program. The amount available for the project is approximately $60,000. DOEE expects to make multiple awards for a maximum amount of $20,000. This amount is subject to availability of funding and approval by the appropriate agencies. The deadline for application submissions is 3/3/2017.

- Nonprofit organizations, including those with IRS 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) determinations;
- Faith-based organizations;
- Government agencies
- Universities/educational institutions; and
- Private Enterprises.
