DOEE seeks eligible entities to provide hands-on educational and technical assistance to District-based high school students to prepare them for the Washington DC Electric Vehicle Grand Prix Competition (DC EVGP). Applicants are invited to propose an innovative, creative education and technical assistance program, which may include hands-on support to the students, which will generate enthusiasm for science and engineering principles at a crucial stage in the educational development of young adults. The amount available for the project is approximately $50,000.

Eligibility: The following institutions below may apply for these grants:
-Nonprofit organizations, including those with IRS 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) determinations;
-Faith-based organizations;
-Universities/educational institutions; and
-Private Enterprises.
