Notice of Funding Availability- 2019 Washington DC Electric Vehicle Grand Prix

2019 Electric Vehicle Grand PrixDOEE seeks eligible entities to provide hands-on educational and technical assistance to District-based high school students to prepare them for the Washington DC Electric Vehicle Grand Prix Competition (DC EVGP). Applicants are invited to propose an innovative, creative education and technical assistance program, which may include hands-on support to the students, which will generate enthusiasm for science and engineering principles at a crucial stage in the educational development of young adults. The amount available for the project is approximately $50,000.

Beginning January 11, 2019, the full text of the Request for Applications (RFA) will be available in the attachments section below. A person may obtain a copy of this RFA by any of the following means:

Write DOEE at 1200 First Street NE, 5th Floor, Washington, DC 20002, “Attn: Eric Campbell RE:2019-1904-EA” on the outside of the envelope.

The deadline for application submissions is February 11, 2019 at 4:30 pm. Five hard copies must be submitted to the above address and a complete electronic copy must be e-mailed to [email protected].

Eligibility: The following institutions below may apply for these grants:

-Nonprofit organizations, including those with IRS 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) determinations;
-Faith-based organizations;
-Universities/educational institutions; and
-Private Enterprises.
