Request for applications: GRANTS FOR DEMONSTRATION OF INNOVATIVE GREEN PRACTICES IN THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA
The District Department of the Environment (DDOE) is seeking nonprofit organizations with IRS 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) determinations, faith-based organizations, and educational institutions to work with DDOE’s on-going program of incentivizing Low Impact Development (LID) Green Infrastructure (GI) implementation District on properties and to participate, in whole or in part, in demonstrations of innovative LID-GI practices on private and public spaces. The amount available for the projects in this RFA is approximately $2,110,000. This amount is subject to continuing availability of funding and approval by the appropriate agencies.

Submission deadline: The deadline for application submissions is Monday, April 29, 2013, at 4:30 p.m. Five hard copies must be submitted to the above address and a complete electronic copy must be e-mailed to [email protected].
