Case Study - Ethan Landis

Ethan Landis is a long-time District resident and business co-owner of Landis Construction Corporation. Ethan has been a leader in promoting the greening of the city's construction codes and built environment, dedicating countless hours as a volunteer member of the Construction Code Coordinating Board (and chair of several technical working groups) and a volunteer member of the Mayor’s Green Building Advisory Council (GBAC) since 2008.  Ethan has committed his firm, Landis Construction Corporation, to implement construction best practices such as energy efficiency, recycling of construction debris, improving indoor air quality, saving water, and promoting deep energy retrofits and the use of renewable and recycled building materials.   With his brother/business partner, he recently invested in a 30 kilowatt photovoltaic solar array for their headquarters building in Takoma, DC.
