DOEE has released an initial version Clean Energy DC. A companion to Climate Ready DC, Clean Energy DC provides tools for addressing climate change and for meeting key energy and climate goals of the District’s Sustainable DC Plan.
Clean Energy DC provides strategies for how the District can cut greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2032, while increasing renewable energy and reducing overall energy consumption through innovative measures.
The initial version of Clean Energy DC was peer-reviewed in September 2016, and is now publicly available in the attachments section below. Clean Energy DC is intended to serve as a living document and will be updated and modified regularly, as DOEE continues to engage the public for feedback and dialogue around the plan.
