PUBLIC NOTICE
Final Air Quality Permit 6786-R1 for Y & G Auto Body Shop LLC, Operation of an Existing Automotive Paint Spray Booth at 1851 Adams Street NE
On Friday, January 25, 2019, the Air Quality Division (AQD) of the Department of Energy and Environment (DOEE) issued an air quality permit (No. 6786-R1) to Y & G Auto Body Shop LLC to operate an existing automotive paint spray booth at 1851 Adams Street NE, Washington DC 20018. This permit was issued pursuant to 20 DCMR § 200.1 and 200.2 and can be found in the attachments below.
On August 24, 2018, DOEE issued a public notice soliciting comments on a draft version of the permit. Comments were accepted through September 24, 2018. A public hearing on the matter was requested and subsequently held on December 11, 2018 at the DOEE offices at 1200 First Street NE, Washington DC.
No comments were received during the public comment period. One person testified at the public hearing.
DOEE has considered each of the comments received during hearing testimony and has prepared responses to them. The comments and related review resulted in no changes to the language in the draft permit. DOEE has deemed it appropriate to issue the permit to the applicant, Y & G Auto Body Shop LLC, as proposed.
