Notice of Funding Availability - 2020 Green Zone Environmental Program

DOEE seeks eligible entities to provide education, training, and hands-on activities to participants in the Green Zone Environmental Program (GZEP). Projects should focus on improving water quality and, in particular, reducing the impacts of stormwater runoff on District water bodies. Additionally, these projects should provide GZEP participants with entry-level skills in the green economy. The amount available for this grant announcement is approximately $80,000. An applicant can request up to $20,000. DOEE plans to make multiple awards.

Beginning January 24, 2020, the full text of the Request for Applications (RFA) will be available on the Department’s website.

The deadline for application submissions is February, 28 2020, at 4:30 p.m. Five hard copies must be submitted to the above address OR a complete electronic copy must be e-mailed to [email protected] and [email protected] for receipt by that time.

An informational meeting/conference call and opportunity for question and answers will be held on February 6, 2020 at 1:00 PM
