Notice of Funding Availability - DC Electrification and Mitigation Roadmap

seeks eligible entities to implement the Sustainable DC Plan’s energy and climate targets to reduce the District’s energy consumption by 50%, Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions by 50%, and to increase renewable energy for 50% of its total supply. This RFA consists of one (1) project with six (6) distinct tasks. Each applicant must respond to all six (6) tasks and address all of the criteria within the project. The total available funding is $300,000.

Beginning 3/8/2019, the full text of the Request for Applications (RFA) will be available on the Department’s website. A person may obtain a copy of this RFA by any of the following means:

The deadline for application submissions is 4/8/2019, at 4:30 pm. Five hard copies must be submitted to the above address and a complete electronic copy must be e-mailed to [email protected]

Eligibility: All following institutions below may apply for these grants:

  • Nonprofit organizations, including those with IRS 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) determinations;
  • Faith-based organizations;
  • Universities/educational institutions; and
  • Private Enterprises.
