Notice of Funding Availability - Implementation of Trash Reduction Technologies

DOEE seeks eligible entities to propose the unique implementation of technologies to reduce the volume of trash entering the Anacostia River and its tributaries. The amount available for the project is approximately $195,000 for three fiscal years. The deadline for application submissions is February 13, 2017 at 4:30pm.

Questions and Answers

Q1: In the RFA on the bottom of page 20, is the maintenance of each of the listed sites considered an independent project for which separate proposals are required?
A1: If an applicant proposes the maintenance of multiple sites listed in the RFA, they may do so under a single application.

Q2: Is the Nash Run project the site where a Bandalong Litter Trap was installed this past spring?
A2: No. The Nash Run project site mentioned in the RFA is located along Anacostia Ave NE on the grounds of Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens.
