Notice of Funding Availability - Request for Partners for RWJF Kingman and Heritage Islands Grant

DOEE seeks eligible entities for a potential partner to present DOEE with a plan to establish and implement a workforce development program on Kingman and Heritage Islands that will be included in DOEE’s Global Ideas for U.S. Solutions: Cities Taking Action to Address Health, Equity, and Climate Change grant application to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF). DOEE may request approximately $550,000 in funding from the RWJF for one or more projects.

Beginning May 8, 2020, the full text of the Request for Applications (RFA) will be available on the Department’s website.

The deadline for application submissions is May 22, 2020 at 4:30 pm.  One complete electronic copy must be e-mailed to [email protected].

Eligibility: The institutions below may apply for these grants:

  • Nonprofit organizations, including those with IRS 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) determinations;
  • Government agencies; and
  • Universities/educational institutions.
