Notice of Public Hearing and Solicitation of Public Comment - FY 2018 Weatherization Assistance Program Draft State Plan

DOEE invites the public to present its comments at a public hearing on the fiscal year (FY) 2018 Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) Draft State Plan.

Beginning 7/7/17, the full text of the FY 2018 WAP Draft State Plan will be available. A person may obtain a copy of the FY 2018 WAP Draft State Plan by any of the following means:

Download from the attackments below. Look for “FY18 WAP Draft State Plan” near the bottom of the page. Follow the link to the page, where the document can be downloaded in a PDF format.

Email a request to [email protected] with “Request copy of FY 2018 WAP” in the subject line.

Pick up a copy in person from the Department’s reception desk, located at 1200 First Street NE, 5th Floor, Washington, DC 20002. To make an appointment, call the Department’s reception at (202) 535-2600 and mention this Notice by name.

Write the Department at 1200 First Street NE, 5th Floor, Washington, DC 20002, “Attn: Kenley Farmer RE: FY18 WAP Draft State Plan” on the outside of the envelope.

The deadline for comments is 7/26/17 at the conclusion of the public hearing. All persons present at the hearing who wish to be heard may testify in person. All presentations shall be limited to five minutes. Persons are urged to submit duplicate copies of their written statements.

Persons may also submit written testimony by email, with a subject line of “FY18 WAP Draft State Plan”, to [email protected]. Comments clearly marked “FY18 WAP Draft State Plan” may also be hand delivered or mailed to the Department’s offices at the address listed above. All comments should be received no later than the conclusion of the public hearing on July 26, 2017. The Department will consider all comments received in its final decision.
