Monday, November 21, 2016

Updated 11-21-16 with additional buildings as a result of DOEE enforcement efforts. There are now 877 buildings in the disclosure for 2013. Download updated files attached below.

Today, the District published the second annual disclosure of energy and water consumption data for large commercial and multifamily buildings in the city. The disclosure includes detailed data on the energy and water performance of 736 of the city’s largest privately owned buildings in calendar year 2013, covering more than 200 million square feet. A glossary defining all the fields in the data sets is also provided.

DDOE is required by the Clean and Affordable Energy Act of 2008 to publicly disclose the ENERGY STAR® Benchmarking results for each privately owned building that is subject to the benchmarking law, beginning with the 2nd year of benchmarking data for that building. This disclosure covers buildings over 100,000 gross square feet. See data from previous years.
