DDOE is soliciting comments on a draft MS4 Outfall Repair Schedule. The Permit for the District’s Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) requires the District to develop a schedule for evaluating and repairing stormwater outfalls within the District’s MS4, and to make this strategy available for public review and comment. In accordance with this requirement, DDOE and DC Water have developed a draft Outfall Repair Schedule (available electronically below or by contacting (202) 741-2136). A formal notice of public comment was published in the July 5, 2013 edition of the D.C. Register.

Public Comment
Comments on the draft plan must be filed in writing no later than 30 days after the publication of the formal notice in the D. C. Register. Comments should be clearly marked “Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Permit Outfall Repair Schedule and Report” and either (1) mailed or hand-delivered to DDOE, Stormwater Management Division, 1200 First Street, N.E., 5th Floor, Washington, DC 20002, Attention: Outfall Repair Schedule, or (2) emailed to [email protected].
