DOEE seeks eligible entities to propose a plan that will define and pilot a support system that will boost the green economy through technical assistance and financial support for innovative approaches and business models aimed at advancing the District’s sustainability and climate plans. The amount available for a single project is $60,000

The deadline for application submissions is April 22, 2020 at 11:59 pm. Five hard copies must be submitted to the above address and a complete electronic copy must be e-mailed to [email protected].
Eligibility: The institutions below may apply for these grants:
- Nonprofit organizations, including those with IRS 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) determinations;
- Universities/educational institutions; and
- Private Enterprises.

Question: In light of the contracting freeze announced - Is the Green Initiatives DC grant still being awarded?
Answer: "DOEE has applied for a waiver for the Green Initiatives RFA to be funded. Please proceed with submitting an application until we have more information.
