DOEE has hosted eight stakeholder engagement sessions to provide input and feedback for the Transportation Electrification Roadmap. These virtual stakeholder meetings will build on the District’s goal to become carbon-neutral by 2050 and will help outline actions needed to equitably electrify transportation in the nation’s capital.
The Transportation Electrification Roadmap Sessions outline specific strategies by which the District will transition from traditional gasoline and diesel vehicles to electric vehicle (EV) options. District resident participants provided feedback and input that will inform and refine the Transportation Electrification Roadmap's recommendations. Most importantly, these efforts will ensure that access to, and benefits from, transportation electrification are equitable and accessible to all District residents.
Below are a collection of the questions asked during the breakout sessions, as well as the presentations that went along each topic.
