DOEE Sustainability Grants Lunch & Learn

DOEE and the Chesapeake Bay Alliance will present 3 open grants that businesses may be interested in, including:

• The Ditch the Disposables Awards will fund dishes and dishwashing for onsite dining, reusable dishes for take-out, reusable foodware services, and projects that reduce food waste (with the last element specifically focused on schools).
• The Donation and Reuse Awards provide funding to projects that reduce needless waste and increase diversion of reusable material, including edible food, from landfills and incineration through donation or reuse.
• The Urban Agriculture Small Awards will fund support the increased infrastructure and operations at urban farms to advance strategies to support the success of agriculture initiatives for socially disadvantaged farmers.
