DC Council Committee on Transportation and the Environment

is responsible for overseeing DOEE’s performance and budget. Community members can sign-up to testify to give feedback or recommendations in matters regarding urban agriculture or other environmental issues. Learn More>>

DC Council of Governments (COG)

develops a regional list of farmers offering Community Supported Agriculture shares (CSAs) to our region’s residents, supports urban agriculture through their Urban Forestry Program, Green Infrastructure Program and seeks to provide information on the current and historical state of agriculture in the District. District Department of Energy and Environment

offers a four-part training series designed for those with no or limited grant writing experience to learn how to develop a grant application and submit an effective response to DOEE’s request for applications (RFA). New grant writers are encouraged to view this training. Learn More>>

DC Food Policy Council

is a coalition of food leaders and government representatives appointed by Mayor Muriel Bowser to drive policy towards a more equitable, healthy, and sustainable food system in the District. Meetings are once a month. Learn More>>
