The Potomac Conservancy is hosting cleanups at various sites throughout the spring including their annual DC trash cleanup at Kenilworth Park from 9:00 am- 11:00 am.

Join the Kingman Island Rangers and the Washington Area Bicyclist Association (WABA) to remove trash on and near Kingman + Heritage Islands and the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail before it makes its way into the Anacostia River. Find details here.

Anacostia Watershed Society is hosting their annual series of cleanups at various sites in DC and Maryland. A few are highlighted below:

Join DOEE from 11:00 am – 1:00pm at the Dix Street Bioretention. The Dix Street bioretention was constructed using funding from DOEE's Clean Water Construction Program.

Join Ward 8 Woods in Ivy City from 11:00-1:00pm.

Explore cleanup sites across DC including DC Dream Center, Kingman Island and Nash Run.

Join Potomac Riverkeeper Network, DOEE and their partners at the Oxon Cove Earth Day River Cleanup from 10:00 am- 1:00pm.

Join DOEE at Woody Ward Community Center for a rain garden maintenance cleanup and training from 10:00am-12:00pm. This is an opportunity to learn how ensure the health and effectiveness of rain gardens in your community.
