Noni Olayinka, MBA - Associate Director

With over 15 years of diverse experience in Human Resources, Noni H. Olayinka is a results-driven HR leader with a proven track record in managing high-performing teams and driving strategic HR initiatives. She has successfully aligned HR functions with organizational goals to foster growth and improve operational efficiency.
Noni spent nearly four years as an HR Specialist at DOEE, where they played a key role in supporting multiple administration and HR programs before leaving to become the HR Advisor at the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE).
Prior to returning to DOEE as the HR Director, Noni spent the next four years serving as the Deputy Assistant Superintendent at OSSE, where she oversaw HR operations for a 2000-person education agency, including multiple worksites. She helped lead a team of over 40 HR professionals, driving talent management strategies, performance management, and learning and development initiatives.
Her expertise extends to employee engagement, coaching, and performance improvement, having designed and led training programs and strategic HR initiatives for organizations ranging from government agencies to global corporations. Previously, Noni held HR leadership roles at Events DC, Interstate Hotels & Resorts, and Macy’s Inc., where she developed talent pipelines, managed large-scale employee engagement initiatives, and built strong relationships with senior leadership.
Noni holds an MBA in Human Resources and Organizational Management from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from Western Michigan University. She is a Gallup Q12 Certified Engagement Champion and has completed numerous professional development programs, including coaching certifications and Dale Carnegie presentations. Noni is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the National Black MBA Association.
