The 2016 Vulnerability & Risk Assessment is based on data from the 2015 Climate Projections & Scenario Development Report. Those scenarios include rising temperatures and more frequent and severe heat waves, increased frequency and intensity of heavy precipitation events, rising sea levels, and increased coastal flooding due to storm surge. This Assessment evaluates the vulnerability of District infrastructure, public facilities, and populations to those climate change impacts.
