Notice of Funding Availability - Anacostia Ambassador Program

Friday, February 1, 2019

DOEE seeks eligible entities to propose how they will select an Ambassador and administer the Anacostia Ambassador Program; a program through the Urban Waters Federal Partnerships (UWFP). As part of the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Chesapeake Bay Implementation Grant, DOEE will fund a qualified applicant to administer the Anacostia Ambassador Program. The grantee will supervise an “Ambassador” who will organize nonprofits, agencies and businesses to benefit the Anacostia. The project period is one (1) year, with the option of up to two (2) additional years, for a total of three (3) years. $90,000 is available for the first year for one award.
