Weatherization Day is an opportunity to highlight the impact of the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) which saves energy, improves the health and safety of homes, and supports jobs and small businesses. Learn how you can weatherize your home for the upcoming cold months and utilize the programs available through the Department of Energy and Environment!

Enjoy an afternoon of face painting, children crafts, energy efficiency activities, rain garden lessons, tents with services available to the community, and much more!

From 10am -12pm on October 30th the United Planning Organization (UPO) will be hosting a Do It Yourself Workshop on how to make your home more energy efficient at their training center (915 Girard St. NE, Washington, DC 20017). UPO will also provide attendees with information on their training center and services available.
