BioBlitz and Biodiversity Festival
Explore the wilds in and around Washington, DC like never before at BioBlitz 2016. The National Park Service is celebrating its 100th birthday with hundreds of BioBlitzes across the country, and the District of Columbia is the main event for this year’s celebration. Scientists will lead teams of students, teachers, and the general public for a fun, two-day race to discover and count all the types of plants, animals, and other organisms in DC area National Parks.
