Career DOEE seeks experienced workers to join our team. Open
Green Fellows DOEE offers several highly competitive, paid fellowships for graduate students attending local higher education institutions and DC residents enrolled in area graduate programs. Open
Internships DOEE offers a wide range of paid and unpaid internships, posted on a rolling (as needed) basis by our Divisions. Open
Summer-GZEP The Green Zone Environmental Program (GZEP) offers summer job opportunities working with youth on community environmental projects. Open
Volunteer We are always looking for people who want to volunteer and get involved. Opportunities include community outreach, Sustainable DC projects, and wildlife conservation. Open
Solar Works DC Solar Works DC, the District’s solar systems installation and job training program, seeks District residents, ages 18 and over, for its upcoming cohort. Open
River Corps The River Corps Program engages District residents, ages 18–24, through classroom education and field-based experiences to gain technical skills needed to install, inspect, and maintain Green Infrastructure, and learn critical skills to secure employment. Learn more>> Open

Communication Coordinator - Plans and manages the daily field operations of the media and GZEP program tracking of information and data. Oversees all media projects at each worksite to ensure adequate supervision and documentation of program processes. Works closely with the Office of Communications, Engagement and Outreach to maintain GZEP social media presence, take photos and video, and support all other GZEP-related media task.
