Launched in Ward 7 and focused on the communities that border the Anacostia River and the region of the Anacostia watershed, Groundwork Anacostia River DC utilizes environmental restoration goals as a vehicle for community development.
National Day of Service - 7th Annual Pope Branch Clean Up
Join the Pope Branch Park Restoration Alliance, the Sierra Club and partners for our 7th Annual Clean-up Of Pope Branch Park. The park surrounds a creek, a tributary to the Anacostia River, by the same name. Keep litter and debris from making its way into the river. Gloves, tools and refreshments will be provided.
DC SEU ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager Training Series - November 13
The DC Sustainable Energy Utility (DC SEU) will be offering a hands-on general training in EPA's ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager software in November! The training will cover the basics of the District’s benchmarking regulations and then launch into a detailed walk-through of the Portfolio Manager tool, including how to benchmark a general multifamily building and how to report the results to DDOE. Please note that these are not DDOE events, and will not include any regulatory updates beyond what has been presented by DDOE already.
