The Leadership Council meets quarterly to discuss and advise on the District's Anacostia River Sediment Project (ARSP). Assembled in September 2014, the Leadership Council consists of 21 high-level local, state, and federal government officials and environmental leaders who support the Mayor's vision for a fishable and swimmable river.

This training focuses on using the Stormwater Database in the submission process for DDOE review of Stormwater Management Plans (SWMPs), Soil Erosion and Sediment Control (ESC) Plans, and Green Area Ratio (GAR) Plans, and for participation in the SRC and RiverSmart Rewards programs. The training includes an overview of database functions and exercises to enter mock plans and applications.
General Compliance training includes site and BMP design, use of off-site retention, and MEP process for PROW associated with parcel-based projects.
Stormwater Training: Generation and Certification of Stormwater Retention Credits (SRCs), Discount on Stormwater Impervious Fees, and Use of the Online Application Portal

Who Should Attend?
Owners and manager of DC restaurants, restaurant suppliers, stakeholders interested in informing the restaurant sector of District requirements.
The workshop is free but registration is required.
If you own or manage a restaurant, this workshop is for you! This workshop will introduce you to District requirements for the Straw Ban which starts January 1, 2019. Restaurants are invited to bring their own single-use foodware items for review.
