We welcome the local DC residential and business community to stop by, visit our exhibit tables and get to know your DDOE as we spotlight our green programs, services and information.
There will be exciting giveaways and very special surprises for our table visitors who answer light environmental trivia questions – Don’t Miss it!
Event activities will include entertainment, health and fitness, art, food, exhibits and vendors. The event theme is Sustainability. DC government agencies will be invited to provide health screenings, capital bike share information, anti-idling equipped police cruiser, truck “touches”, green jobs information, and more.
This event is a platform that uses creativity to showcase a relatable look into the environment, sustainability, health, and social issues through culture, art, fashion and music in an effort to improve, encourage and empower the urban community.

DDOE is taking this opportunity to host an exhibit table to present important information to students and staff about how they can be better stewards of our environment, both locally and globally.
Three sessions planned:
AM: 9:30 to 12:00
PM: 1:30 to 3:30
EVE: 7:00 to 8:00
* Information tables will be available for students who attend either of their three sessions (10am, 1pm and 7:00)
DDOE will be giving a presentation on energy saving techniques for the residents of Golden Rule Apartments.
