(WASHINGTON, D.C.) The District Department of the Environment (DDOE) has launched the RiverSmart Rewards program, which provides District property owners and tenants who install systems that retain stormwater runoff, with discounts of up to 55% on its stormwater fee.

A Ten Block Festival of Fun, Fellowship, Food and Fabulous Festivities! Including eight stages of local music performances, numerous exhibitors, and a variety of exciting contests – an event appropriate for the entire family. H Street has much to celebrate this year – the completion of the streetscape plan, the opening of numerous new businesses, as well as the survival of businesses that have been part of the H Street community for years.

The 11th Street Bridge Project is part of the Anacostia Waterfront Initiative, and as partners of the AWI, DDOE has been invited to participate in the September 7th celebration.

(Washington, D.C.) The District Department of the Environment (DDOE) has issued new lead regulations that will fully implement the District’s Lead-Hazard Prevention and Elimination Act, DDOE announced earlier this week. The regulations were issued on July 26, 2013 and became effective upon publication.
