(Washington, DC) The District Department of the Environment (DDOE) today released the results of the 2013 Follow-Up Spring Valley Public Health Study and Community Health Assessment Survey for Zip Codes 20016 and 20015. The study was conducted by the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

The District Department of the Environment (DDOE) today finalized a new regulatory framework for stormwater management by large development sites in the District of Columbia. The new regulations are published in the DC Register today, Friday, July 19, 2013. This comes in advance of a federal requirement for the District to update its stormwater regulations by July 22, 2013.
DDOE will help community residents save 5 cents on the cost of buying plastic bags in stores and to discourage overall use of non-reusable bags. Reusable bags will be handed out.

The Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health, in conjunction with the District Department of the Environment, will be hosting a Community Meeting to release their findings from the 2013 Follow-up Spring Valley Public Health Study and Community Health Assessment Survey for the 20016 and 20015 Zip Codes.
(Washington, D.C.) Today, the District Department of the Environment (DDOE) announced that that the DC Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Program has completed its first financing of an energy efficiency project in the District. The property, an affordable multifamily building at 400 M St in southeast DC, is part of the Capper Carrollsburgh Hope VI redevelopment. The total amount of the project is $340,000.
