The DC Sustainable Energy Utility (DC SEU) will be offering a hands-on general training in EPA's ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager software in November! The training will cover the basics of the District’s benchmarking regulations and then launch into a detailed walk-through of the Portfolio Manager tool, including how to benchmark a general multifamily building and how to report the results to DDOE.  Please note that these are not DDOE events, and will not include any regulatory updates beyond what has been presented by DDOE already.

The District Department of the Environment is partnering with Audubon Maryland-DC and the Audubon At Home program to offer FREE educational workshops in which participants can learn about creating wildlife habitat in their yard. We would like to invite you to register for one of our backyard habitat workshops, which are being held in September and October of 2012.

Anyone associated with multifamily housing is welcome to attend, but the training is targeted at the staff people and/or volunteers who will be responsible for make sure condominiums and cooperative buildings comply.
